Next Thursday, 13th October, at 7pm, the London Review of Books Bookshop is hosting an evening with Jacques Réda.

Jacques Réda occupies a unique position with French literary life but his poetry has remained unpublished in this country until now with Anvil's Selected Early Poems. Along with his translator, Jennie Feldman, he will discuss his work, the relationship between author and translator, his time as an editor at Gallimard and NRF, and his views on Paris and the current state of French literature.
